Emergency Safety Plans

Kids are home for the  summer holidays and it’s  the perfect time to practice your family’s fire escape plan so everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency.

Visible House Number

The trees, bushes and flowers around your home are green and growing! Make sure your address number is visible from the street so if there is an emergency, fire fighters or other emergency services can find your home easily.

Little Critters
Tis the time for little critters to roam around your yard. Check outdoor electrical outlets and other electrical appliances for animal nests to ensure the wiring has not been chewed or tampered with.

BBQ Fires

Periodically remove grease build-up in catch trays to prevent it from igniting. and always keep a garden hose nearby, connected and ready for use in case of a fire. If you do not have a water connection outdoors keep a fire extinguisher handy.
